Is a PCR entry examination required before entering the Kingdom?
All non-Saudis over the age of (8 years)* are required to submit proof that they are free from infection with the virus, based on an analysis from a trusted authority outside the Kingdom, no later than 72 hours before departure.
* Taking into account the regulations of the country of destination related to HIV infection analysis procedures for children.
Excluded categories: Arrivals from air ports
Male and female citizens, the citizen’s wife, the female citizen’s husband, the male’s sons and daughters, and the accompanying domestic workers
(To be applied to the unvaccinated, including the home quarantine for a period of 7 days with a PCR examination at the end of the quarantine period, starting from the sixth day)
Those who hold a diplomatic visa, diplomats, their families residing with them, and the domestic workers accompanying them
(A home quarantine is applied to them as approved by the Ministry of Health)
Unprotected domestic workers accompanying a fortified resident
The escort of the prisoner (citizen and resident) under the age of 18
(To be applied to the unvaccinated, including the home quarantine for a period of 7 days with a PCR examination at the end of the quarantine period, starting from the sixth day)
